Darkness Dwells

This was a simple game, but managed to be alright considering that it had similar mechanics to fnaf

This is a really good game, and the ambiance is killer. The sound ques are on point with the monsters. The art style is GREAT! loved the way they were drawn. You guys have great potential, and seriously consider doing it as a full game with a story.

Ah this was pretty good for a bit of high anxiety! The format is good, the creepy atmosphere really comes across well and the monsters are indeed creepalicious, but the one night on display here is a bit easy.

If you ever expand upon things and add some more nights, maybe throw an interesting backstory in there somewhere and a couple more monsters to keep an eye on you'd really be on to something! But this was fun for what it was, keep up the great work everyone! =)

I had completely forgotten to share my video of this game. When I had played this originally, it stopped being scary after a short while. And the only monster that ever actually got me was the one under the bed. It was rather easy to avoid dying from the other monsters.

But the real issue I have with this game is that it's rather boring after a short while like I said before.  And the game lasted so long, I was getting tired of playing it.

This game was really good. Would say to make it harder if you add additional nights to the game. As this was too easy to do. Good job 

Its good but I think you should have the game restart the level rather than going back to the main menu, just developer to developer advice.

Wow this is a very nice difference from your last game! Really nicely done, the ambiance is pretty darn good and the mechanics work fairly well. Hope you're able to get some more monsters in to make it more challenging! Good job either way duder.

I really enjoyed this one! I wish it was longer and had more monsters to deal with! After getting the hang of it, it's actually pretty easy, so more of a challenge would be awesome! But like I said I really did enjoy it!

fun and creepy game, so many monsters to keep track of! I didn't get far but had a ton of fun ;P

Game mechanics were decent! Really surprised me for a free horror game. I like the bedroom setting and the concept on how to dispel

all the monsters was dope! Only thing that was annoying was holding left click the whole time because If you don't the blanket is constantly being taken away. But other than that this game was dope! 

I absolutley love this game.  Had a blast playing it. Mechanics work perfect. The only drawback that I can see currently is lack of content. If this is only night one then this has been a job well done. Please add more content. This game deserves it! Overall 8/10 Would scream like a girl again!

Really cool monsters and mechanics! Got some spooks but survived at the end! 

This was nice. I got to hang out with Joe and Nosferatu and some jerk under the bed who has a vacuum mouth.

Kept me engaged, got a couple spooks in, tidy little package of a game you made here.

I'd love to see a version where you play as the dad who it turns out is equally scared of monsters, something to really laugh at.

Not bad for a demo, you've got some good ideas. 

Very spooky game. It has the mechanics of FNAF or Boogeyman. The graphics are good and the ambiance is great.

Gave it a go...

This game was pretty good! I kinda felt like there were a few bugs, so let's talk about those first before the praise! Every time I failed or died, the mouse would stop working for some reason and I'd have to minimize/maximize the game to make it work again (running in fullscreen). At one point, the LMB was not grabbing the blankets and pulling them up, ultimately leading to death. Aaaaand the rocking horse monster seemed to pop in multiple instances quite often. Spamming the flashlight fixes that, but I'm not entirely sure if it is inentional. Err, I see you're working on the horse. Awesome!

Now for praise! This game's atmosphere and voice acting was actually well done! In my video, the audio for the voices was pretty choppy. I have NO idea why. Every time I restarted the night, they'd sound fine. It was just choppy the first time. The thunder scared me almost EVERY time it hit. The 'monster' designs and models were awesome. I especially loved 'The Babadook' jumpscare (the closet monster). The mechanics were simple, but still difficult. I love having to deal with uniformity and prioritizing things. I know a lot of people are saying 'ITS LIKE FNAF' - but you do you. It's hard to not do something that FNAF has already done anymore. Thanks for making this!

I just got done playing for a bit. I didn't get too far, but I did have fun with it. The environment is great and the models are spooky. The little rocking horse guy got me too much, but it's all good. He'll probably lure me into a false sense of security and something else will get me later. We'll see. I'll definitely be playing this again. I did find a way to cheese the blanket by simply holding LMB the whole time and only letting off to flash what I needed to flash. Not sure if that's intended or not.
